Gallagher has long been a top Parker Distributor.  The Parker TechSeal Division designs and manufactures custom elastomer products using extrusion, precision cutting, and fabricating technologies. The extruded rubber products can be supplied in multiple forms such as cut parts, long lengths, bulk footage, or fabricated gaskets and seals. The video below provides an insight into TechSeal's day to day operation including manufacturing, material development, and design assistance.

Each of the TechSeal Division's five manufacturing facilities is ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certified and specializes in a different market or manufacturing technology, allowing us to deliver premier customer service and exceptional quality. Parker TechSeal Division's facility in Spartanburg, SC also holds a Ford's Q1 certification for excellent performance in quality, delivery, engineering, and other manufacturing aspects.

The markets that TechSeal serves are aerospace, military, oil and gas, renewable energy, power generation, automotive, heavy duty, medical and life sciences, telecommunication, consumers, and several other general industries.

TechSeal Division has over 400 active compounds in a variety of standard material types and a variety of specialty approved materials for many demanding applications. The team of chemists at TechSeal can develop special compounds for specific application if none of the current material offerings can meet the application requirements. Some standard material families include silicone, fluorosilicone, nitrile (NBR), hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR), fluorocarbon (FKM), perfluoro-elastomers (FFKM), ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM), neoprene (CR), and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). Many of TechSeal Division's compounds comply with special industry requirements such as FDA white listed ingredients, USP Class VI, UL94 V-0, UL 157, Mil-Spec, ASTM, NSF designations, and several other specifications.

Gallagher's Engineering Department and TechSeal's Application Engineering team are available to develop customized sealing solutions for most applications. Using non-linear elastomeric Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, TechSeal Application Engineers can perform accurate simulations of seal performance based on material test data. These simulations eliminate the need for multiple iterations of costly prototypes and reduce development time.  Contact us for more information on extruded parts and profiles.
