GORE® Gasket Tape is a 100% ePTFE form-in-place gasket that delivers worry-free sealing performance for large steel flanges (Series 500) and large glass-lined steel equipment (Series 1000). While this product has a number of advantages, GORE® has now made their gasket tape line even easier to use.
Improved installation-aid adhesive.
The company has also increased the width and coverage area of the adhesive for all sizes of GORE® Gasket Tape Series 500 and Series 1000. This will be especially helpful with the installation of our wider tape, or when the tape is used on small radius bends.
Cold temperature installation-aid adhesive available for the upcoming winter season.
Gore's form-in-place gasket products, with their convenient customization, provide an excellent solution for large flanges. But often those flanges are located outside and exposed to cold weather. Low temperatures may significantly decrease the effectiveness of standard adhesives, making it difficult to install form-in-place gaskets. To remedy this, Gore offers a unique adhesive option that is up to the task of adhering ePTFE to metal in cold temperature conditions down to 0°F (-18°C).
