Tech Bulletin Parker 5-Dash Sizing Guide

Parker's 5-Dash series of o-rings are classified as commonly used o-rings sizes which do not fall in the AS568 line of o-rings and are also not true “metric” sizes.

The following 5-XXX sizes are O-rings of nonstandard dimensions for which Parker tooling was available as of January 1, 2007.

These molds are cut to allow for standard “AN” shrinkage, and in materials having standard shrinkage they will normally produce rings to the dimensions listed. Materials with other than standard shrinkage will give different dimensions and tolerances.
