Spiral Wound With Inner Ring

Spiral Wound Gasket - With Inner Ring

The Spiral Wound Gasket with Inner Ring features an inner ring, spiral winding, filler material, and a centering ring for use in higher pressure applications. The Gasket offers durable; easy installation and removal, and seals pressures to flange ratings, in accordance with ASME B16.5 and B16.47.

Suited to temperatures from cryogenic to 2000°F / 1093°C, depending on metal and filler, the guide ring simplifies centering of sealing element on the flange face. Custom-tailored solutions accommodate a variety of conditions by combining various metals and filler materials.

Inners rings are provided standard for ASME B16.20 unless otherwise specified by the customer. The inner ring can help shield sealing elements from erosion caused by abrasive media.

Optimizing gasket performance can be a very complicated process.  If you require the input or design assistance of a GFS engineer for your application, please contact GFS here.
