Fluorosilicone (FVMQ)

While the mechanical and physical properties of fluorosilicone are very similar to silicone rubber (both high and low temperature stability), the addition of the fluorocarbons also gives this material excellent fuel, oil, and solvent resistance.

Features & Benefits

  • Excellent fuel and diester-based lubricant resistance
  • Good compression set and resilience properties
  • Suitable for exposure to air, UV, ozone, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons
  • High temperature stability
