The Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) Rod Seal RO is a single-acting polyurethane hydraulic cylinder rod seal. The beveled sealing lip faces the rod to perform enhanced low to high pressure sealing and wiping action. The inner sealing lip is shorter and more robust to improve sealing and compression set characteristics compared to conventional symmetrical U-Cups. The U-Cup is designed to have an interference fit within the seal housing, and can be used in conjunction with a back-up ring for heavy duty applications.
