Parker’s LM100-70 is a 70-durometer blue Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) O-ring material. LM100-70 meets AMS-R-25988 Class 1, Grade 70 (AMS-R-25988/1), a specification for aircraft fuels and lubricants. The mechanical and physical properties are very similar to Silicone (VMQ). Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) is a silicone polymer chain with fluorinated side chains for improved oil and fuel resistance. However, Fluorosilicone (FVMQ) offers improved fuel and mineral oil resistance but poor hot air resistance when compared with Silicone (VMQ).
