The GFS Piston Q Seal is a double-acting O-ring energized PTFE piston seal assembly used in dynamic sealing applications. The Q Seal combines the low friction performance of a typical PTFE cap seal with the sealing performance of an O-ring. The sealing ring includes a small cross-section lobed o-ring on the sealing surface, which reduces leakage. This seal can be used for applications in which 2 different fluids need to be separated; such as 2 different fluids, or a fluid and a gas. This sealing assembly is supplied standard with energizing FKM O-rings and a lobed sealing ring, other elastomers can be supplied upon request.
