Based on the original PTFE cap seal design, the GFS Rod Cap Seal is an O-ring energized PTFE bi-directional rod seal. The Cap Seal performs with anti-extrusion, low friction and low wear properties. This rod seal design has been proven over decades for its performance and reliability. The Cap Seal is recommended for linear reciprocating applications where the stroke length is at least twice that of the groove width. This sealing assembly is supplied standard with an FKM energizing O-ring, other elastomers can be supplied upon request.
PERFORMANCE & SPECIFICATIONS
