Gallagher’s customer required a custom-sized grommet made from Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer material, but had specific cold temperature requirements

SOLUTION

Gallagher’s in-house engineers identified Kalrez® 0040 as the ideal compound to select for the customer’s  instrumentation technology due to its low temperature properties and chemical resistance capabilities

RESULTS
Gallgher Fluid Seals, a Tier 1 DuPont™ Kalrez® distributor, was able to work on behalf of the customer to expedite the custom Kalrez grommets, allowing the project to finish on time for the customer’s end-users
