Tri-Clamp® Gaskets

At Gallagher Seals, we sell many sanitary Tri-Clamp® gaskets to customers each year. They are essential for maintaining product integrity, ensuring a perfect seal, and eliminating risks of contamination. Their main purpose is to seal clamp connections in sanitary pipe lines.

Tri-Clamp® seals consist of two flanged ends, a gasket, and a clamp, which can be tightened by hand. Instead of threads, tri-clamps utilize a clamped union which squeezes a gasket in between two flanges for a seamless, threadless seal.

Whether they're made from EPDM, FKM, NBR, or silicone, they can be used in a variety of industries, including Food, Dairy, Beverage, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and all other Sanitary Process industries.

But did you know that Tri-Clamp® gaskets can also be made in FFKM for more extreme applications?

Tri-Clamp® Seals for Extreme Applications - Simriz® FFKM

Occasionally, more extreme applications call for FFKM to maintain an effective seal. Whether it's thermally driven or chemically driven, FFKM can help fill the gap in your sealing needs.

That's where Tri-Clamp® Simriz® FFKM gaskets come into play. Designed for thermal stability and outstanding protection against chemical elements, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies’ Simriz® Perfluoroelastomer compounds offer outstanding sealing performance for demanding sanitary processing applications.

Simriz® can be utilized to address thermal and chemical resistance, compression set challenges, and static friction, which can cause intrusion in the process line.

Simriz® Tri-Clamp® gaskets are designed to address these problems by offering high hardness, low static friction properties, and a high temperature resistance. The combination of these properties for FFKM sanitary gaskets has allowed for increased mean-time-between-repair (MTBR).
