g2 and palmetto acquisition

Two separate acquisitions that significantly expand custom-tailored PTFE sealing solutions and precision-engineered seals

King of Prussia, PA. May 1, 2025 -- Gallagher Fluid Seals, Inc., a global distributor and manufacturer of fluid sealing products, headquartered in the Greater Philadelphia area, has completed the acquisitions of G2 Seal and Machine of Leesville SC, and Palmetto Precision Polymers of Leesville, SC and Conroe, TX.

Founded in 2012, G2 Seal and Machine manufactures high-performance PTFE Rotary Lip Seals. Greg Watson, Founder and President, has more than 30 years of experience designing and manufacturing high performing rotary PTFE seals. These products specialize in difficult applications combining temperature extremes, high speeds, corrosive fluids, or high pressures.

Palmetto Precision Polymers, founded by Kirk and Teri Brown in 2008, is a manufacturer of high-performance machined PTFE seals. Palmetto has served customers with robust engineering and manufacturing capabilities in both standard and custom seal requirements. Their expertise in spring energized seals, rotary shaft seals, and PTFE components are used around the globe in a multitude of applications, including aerospace, automotive, cryogenics, and power generation.

Kirk Brown, Greg Watson, and their respective teams have joined Gallagher Fluid Seals. These strategic acquisitions will fold directly into the Gallagher Fluid Seals business and provide GFS customers with access to robust design and manufacturing capabilities.

“We’re thrilled to have both Palmetto and G2 join the Gallagher Fluid Seals team,” says CEO Chris Gallagher. “Between G2 and Palmetto, GFS has a comprehensive PTFE seal product portfolio.
