Gallagher Fluid Seals has exciting news to start the new year. On December 31, 2021 GFS completed the acquisition of IES Technical Sales in Danvers, Massachusetts. IES focuses on customers in the Semiconductor, Vacuum, and Thin-Film segments, and operates in New England and New York State.
IES is a distributor and manufacturer’s representative for many leading companies in this market. These capabilities include seals, vacuum fittings and chambers, plasma power sources, analytical and metrology equipment, plasma generation systems, vacuum and cryogenic pumps, thermal regulatory components, and mass flow gauges and controls.
IES represents companies such as: DuPont Kalrez, Ancorp, Bruker Nano, Kashiyama, Advanced Energy, Applied Thermal Control, Teledyne-Hastings, Gencoa, CCR Technology, PVA Tepla, HVA, Trillium, Telemark, Hidden Analytical, and Watlow.
This strategic acquisition will give customers - from both GFS and IES – the ability to explore new product lines while simultaneously allowing greater access to existing products & partners. It will also open a custom engineering channel to the customers of IES; they will now be able to utilize Gallagher’s Engineering Department for tailored solutions to their most difficult and challenging applications.
