Important Kalrez® Lead Time Update
As we mentioned in our messaging earlier this year, DuPont was in the final stages of opening a new Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts manufacturing facility at their Tralee Park Annex site in Newark, Delaware.
We are happy to announce that the new facility is completed and running at full capacity.
The processes and capabilities at this new Kalrez® FFKM manufacturing plant are:
- Manufacturing of Kalrez®
- Finishing of Kalrez®
- Inspection of Kalrez®
- Packaging AND shipping of Kalrez®
What this means for Kalrez® Lead Times
Effective immediately, DuPont has announced a 4-week lead time for a variety of Kalrez® O-Ring orders for compounds and sizes:

The current lead time for Black and White compounds with the ID greater than 7.000 inches (177.8 mm) is currently 6 weeks, and it will move to 4 weeks by December 2023.
For parts smaller than the sizes listed above (<1.500” black compounds), lead times are currently 14 weeks and will continue to reduce as the facility validation process continues.
