New UL-Approved 80 Duro FKM for Fuels, Oils, and LP Gas

Precision Associates FKM Compound 10848
Recently approved is a new compound in the Precision Associates fluoroelastomer repertoire:
Compound 10848, an 80 duro FKM material approved under UL Standard 157 for gaskets and seals.
It’s suitable for fuels, oils, LP gas and more. With excellent heat resistance and low compression set, it replaces Compound 8847 (discontinued in 2024) at a more favorable price.
Compound 10848 is a black FKM, under UL category JMLU2, approved for uses in:
- Gasoline
- Gasoline/alcohol blends up to 15%
- Kerosene
- Naphtha
- Fuel oils
- LP gas
- Manufactured and natural gas
- Suitable for UL87A and UL87B
