PROBLEM
Customer’s existing combustion air fan with split bearings was unable to tolerate the heat being generated from the bearing, which caused a fire hazard. 

SOLUTION

After a site visit, Gallagher and partner Garlock determined a Garlock Split GUARDIAN™ Isolator would withstand the application parameters.

RESULTS
The improved sealing solution provided greatly increased uptime, less maintenance, and most importantly, eliminated the fire hazard due to the increased temperature resistance.
