PROBLEM
The customer’s current polyurethane rod seals experienced a loss of performance after only a few months of high-load testing.
SOLUTION
GFS engineers assessed the operating conditions and made a change in compound to a new high-performance polyurethane.
RESULTS
The change in compound to Freudenberg’s AU30000 allowed the system to maintain performance, while increasing the life of the seal.
