PROBLEM
Customer was experiencing issues related to high temperature helium gas leaking from graphite gaskets on their Mass Spectrometer.

SOLUTION

Gallagher engineers worked with the customer on proper seal selection, moving the customer from graphite gaskets to Kalrez® 4079 gaskets.

RESULTS
Kalrez® 4079 laser cut gaskets lowered costs for the customer and helped reduce the helium gas leakage. Kalrez® parts increased equipment uptime, a critical aspect of this customer’s operation.
